the environmental identity is based on a clear defined grid of equal booths. a straightforward sequence of spaces with easy orientation. the simple organization creates the frame for the content and the activity to animate the space and the event. each booth is its own unit and most booths are the same size and proportion. the typical seamless row of open booths is avoided by providing a gap between each booth and a return to define an entrance. this gives a more substantial room character but also allows for a more flexible layout to accommodate the existing building structure. the definition of the individual booths emphasizes the independent nature of each exhibitor while the identical configuration promotes an even playing field.
